First time coming to Humo. The fusion cuisine here brings flavours rooted in Mexican dishes and combines them with different sources, there’s Italian, Asian, and local, among many. Our party of 3 had cod tacos, ceviche, carnitas, and gnocchi. Everything was delicious! The cod tacos with charcoal tortillas were AMAZING, second to none I’ve tried in Canada. The Cajeta dessert is brilliant, as it boldly places the churros as the surroundings to ice cream and creamy dark chocolate and nuts. I’m not a foodie, at all, but places like this truly make me want to be one. Vanessa was our server, her attention to detail and attentive manners enhanced our overall experience, we felt well taken care of. Thank you, Vanessa!
Humo has quickly become my favorite restaurant in Kelowna! Big-city atmosphere (super important for me as I’m used to the bigger cities lol), extremely clean facility, kitchen and table service is excellent, very fun cocktails, and INCREDIBLE eats! The duck wraps with the kimchi fried rice sooo good!
The restaurant had a very earthy vibe. Cocktails were good. Food was good but not that special. There was a good amount of vegetarian options which is what we stuck with. Portions were bigger than we expected. Server was attentive and had a good knowledge of the menu.
The venue is really really cosy(perfect for a date night), and the seats are not to crowded. Food was good, it's really creative and well presented. It's fair enough to call this place Asian Fusion,our bills included 20% tips approx 289. Overall, we loved this place,It is about experience that you have while eating. Duck wings and Chicken Karake was our favorite. " Must try".Cocktails was also really good, best service from staffs, that's why they deserved good tips 3.
First time here and it did not disappoint! Yanick was so lovely to chat with and had excellent knowledge and enthusiasm for the food and beverage offerings. The flavours were fun, new and exciting. And it was so fun to try many different dishes through the small plates section of the menu. We'll be back for sure! Don't hesitate to check it out.
We went here on recommendation from a friend and we are so happy we did. This place is some of the most unique and delicious food we have ever had. An interesting fusion of Asian and Latino flavours that really work. The entire menu is so interesting and different with options I’ve never seen or experienced. The desserts are to die for. Just go here and order it all. 10/10. Can’t say enough good things about them.
This is a must try if you are in Kelowna. Tasty and inventive dishes. Of all things their tortillas are some of the best outside Mexico. That's a testament of what to expect. Duck wings, yes please!
We were fortunate to take part in the Chefs table menu for our anniversary dinner. Every bite was amazing from the octopus starter to the fanciest straberry salad and rhubarb dessert. The awesome attentive staff asked what of the five dishes was our favorite, I am pretty sure I named all five, namely the cod as it was prepared exquisitely and not previously being a fan of cod that is saying something. This is our new favorite spot for date night! I definitely recommend you don't miss out on one of the best dining experiences in Kelowna.Thank you Chelsey for such great service and making our night feel extra special.
